About
A contextual
approach to
performance.
I’m a HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist, specialising in Sport & Exercise Psychology who has worked across a variety of different sports and organisations.
Having grown up in Greece, studied, trained and worked in Bulgaria and England, and worked within different sporting cultures, I take a contextual approach to performance — recognising that athletes don’t develop and perform in a vacuum.
Performance is acquired, not given. It emerges from repeated, context-specific efforts to excel, and over time, it drives sustainable development.
“Our work goes beyond generic psychological theories and strategies. Interventions are grounded in assessment, evidence, and the person’s environment — not one size fits all.”
